A massive to crystalline black tourmaline matrix hosts numerous magnetite crystals, the most prominent being a cluster of crystals, these having an elongated octahedral shape and stepped growth features. Most of the tourmalines are not terminated. Mindat does not list magnetite for this locality. An aesthetically-challenged specimen having an interesting mineral association.
