From a lithium-enriched granitic pegmatite locality comes this terminated, deep green to black tourmaline crystal. Although it is generally difficult to impossible to determine the precise tourmaline species by visual examination alone, the locality details at Mindat suggest this is fluor-elbaite. One end of the specimen has a termination with rough surface, while the other end is incomplete. Some damaged crystal faces around and within the contact point near the nonterminated end, but overall condition for this rare locality tourmaline is quite good. Very typical for the species and locality.
