11441: Ramsdellite and Pyrolusite - Was $16 Now $12 Mistake Mine, Box Canyon District, Yavapai County, Arizona Miniature - 5.0 x 3.8 x 3.4 cm 55 grams Specimen status: Reserved What does Reserved mean? Send an email with specimen number to order This specimen consists of two
intergrown, metallic gray minerals: blocky ramsdellite,
and acicular to somewhat bladed pyrolusite. (The
accompanying Dave Shannon label indicates that
ramdellites from this locality are all at least
partially pseudomorphed to pyrolusite, and that the
specimen was collected in 1996.) For a gray mineral,
this displays nicely. No damage.
