Set among a cluster of opaque to translucent, light frosted quartz points a lustrous, 1.2 cm sphalerite crystal. The largest quartz crystal measures 5.2 cm in length. Also present are several clusters of small and opaque to transparent and classy, colorless to light lilac fluorite crystals, having beveled edges. Sphalerite is fairly rare- especially in distinct crystals - at this locality; of the 1770 Yaogangxian Mine mineral specimen photos at Mindat only twenty include sphalerite. Overall condition is quite good.
