sublustrous to glassy axinite crystals, generally opaque
at the base and transparent at the termination.
Iron-dominant and manganese-dominant axinite are both
listed for this locality at Mindat, albeit without any
supporting analytical data. In the absence of analysis
for this specimen, we can only label it as axinite, and
not axinite-(Fe) or axinite-(Mn). From what was probably
a limited find in 2014 or 2015.
