aquamarine crystal. Much of the length is translucent, but
becomes clear at the termination. Termination is complete.
Contains numerous hollow tubes, running parallel to the
length of the crystal as well as parallel to nearly empty
voids in beryl's molecular structure. Minor white
feldspar and small, black tourmaline crystals present.
Back has healed break and/or contact areas (or just plain
weird crystallization), and a few small chips are noted.
Currently attached to an acrylic base for display from
which it easily removed if desired.
