A group of lustrous 'dogtooth' calcite
scalenohedral crystals, colored brown by iron
hydroxide/oxide inclusions, and decorated by a light
sprinkling of tiny but gemmy quartz crystals. Individual
calcites reach 1.8 cm. Scattered, minor/insignificant edge
wear noted under magnification.
