31794: Adamite and Calcite - Was $20 Now $10 Ojuela Mine, MapimÃ, Mapimà Municipality, Durango, Mexico Small cabinet - 7.8 x 3.9 x 1.9 cm 28 grams Specimen status: Available Send an email with specimen number to order This specimen is composed mostly of
tiny and sparkling, greenish, translucent adamite
crystals, which (unlike many other adamite specimens from
this locality) show almost no fluorescence under either
longwave or shortwave UV. Colorless, transparent to opaque
calcite crystal groups along one edge provide a nice
accent. Only a trace of typical Ojuela Mine
limonite matrix is present. Overall condition is
excellent.
