This dravite tourmaline features a steeply sloping termination and good trigonal cross section. At the base the color is very dark green to black, with a sudden transition to a lighter yellow-green in the top two millimeters. Strongly reminiscent of the drastic termination color change in Stak Nala tourmalines. Some areas along the shaft are colorless, but still obviously tourmaline. A fine example for the species/locality in this price range. No damage. Ex Carol and Ed Headley collection.
