A typical Himalaya Mine microcline crystal - grey, sublustrous, and naturally etched/pitted - hosts a flattened, brown stibiotantalite crystal group measuring 7 mm across. The stibiotantalite group is somewhat contacted, but terminations and striations are present. Stibiotantalite is a rare antimony tantalum niobium oxide, Sb(Ta,Nb)O4.
