complete faces and a somewhat spongy appearance (sometimes
called 'bone spar' due to its resemblance to bone marrow)
hosts a few small, crystalline patches of lavender-purple
lepidolite, pink tourmaline, and colorless albite. Very
typical association for the locality, and very affordable.
Previous dealer label indicates the specimen was field
collected by notable Southern California
collector Garth Bricker in the 1970's to 1980's.
