the famous New Hampshire locality. The faces vary from
glassy to lightly frosted. In reflected light the color
is dark brown but in transmitted light a nicely smoky
brown appears. The termination has a phantom zone which
appears to be caused by inclusions of tiny gas bubbles
and thin stringers. Scattered, minor chipping is noted
but overall condition is good. Ex Roy Foerster
