A cluster of opaque but sharp axinite blades. Luster ranges from dull to glassy. The largest individual crystal is 3.2 cm wide. I see no contact points, so this is a floater. Some minor edgewear is noted.

An arching and ropey chalcedony specimen composed of many tiny chalcedony balls over a chalcedony core. Many display possibilities. No damage.

A very fine and sharp example of this classic pseudomorph. Generally labeled as gypsum pseudomorphs, many of these are actually gypsum/calcite pseudomorphs. They effervesce in hydrochloric acid, but do not completely dissolve. Carries an old Ward's Scientific label. No damage. One of the very best examples of this material I have ever seen.

A nearly flat, two-sided plate composed of deep green, silky malachite needles, and just a bit of gossan matrix. Individual malachite crystals reach 9 mm. No damage.

Vesuvianite

Opaque and lustrous vesuvianite crystals and grains cling to matrix. The largest distinct crystals reach 6 mm and are doubly terminated. Typical for the species from this locality (which is often and erroneously called Lake Jaco).

A pocket in matrix is lined with silky gray to green smithsonite. Scattered about on the smithsonite are a few tiny but very distinctly blue rosasite balls. A nice combination of the locality. Sawn back (which is not visible from the display face). No damage.

A large cluster of gunmetal gray, intergrown stibnite crystals. Individual crystals reach 6.8 cm in length, and are for the most part not terminated.

From the classic Tennessee zinc locality comes this large, single calcite crystal. It is mostly transparent, with an excellent glassy luster. The pristine termination is gemmy with a golden amber color that gradually becomes colorless towards the cleaved base. Displays well. A few small dings are noted.
