A large, slightly
bent, opaque, black
dravite crystal from the famous Australian locality. Weighs about 800
grams, and has good luster. The top termination is complete, and
consists of many intergrown tourmaline needles, giving it a thatched
roof appearance. Minor muscovite. A few small contacts and chips are
noted, but the specimen
is free of major damage.

A matte gray, bubbly goethite that was
once adjacent to a large gypsum crystal. At some point the gypsum
dissolved away, leaving the striated cast behind. A good cabinet sized

A roughly crystalline sphalerite matrix
with some highly lustrous, resinous patches hosts scattered, mostly
etched yellow and purple fluorite crystals. A second generation of
small, yellow sphalerite adds sparkle. The bottom has a carpet of
small, wafer-thin, white to colorless barite crystals.
