RF456: | Calcite - $40 4th level, Buena Tierra Mine, Santa Eulalia District, Chihuahua, Mexico Cabinet - 12.8 x 11.2 x 9.2 cm (5.0 x 4.4 x 3.6 inches) Weight - 354 grams (0.78 pounds) ex Roy Foerster collection Specimen status: Available Send an email to order Spiky, exploding snow! Or maybe three
dimensional frost? White coral? Regardless, we have here
a fine, snow white, translucent and quite spiky (almost
fractal) calcite. Excellent three dimensionality. Shows
some green fluorescence under shortwave UV. A few spike
tips are missing, but this is inconsequential in this
case (and not unexpected as these specimens tend to
rather fragile). Otherwise pretty much complete all
around. Many display angles possible; probably best
displayed with a stand.
