The mineral market first saw these pseudomorphs a few years ago. Many singles were available but quality clusters were uncommon (and difficult to find today). Here we have an excellent example, featuring a cluster bluish coating of plumbogummite over residual green-yellow, stout pyromorphite crystals. Individual branches reach 3 cm and (as is common with this material) some have incomplete terminations. Greenish fluorescence under shortwave UV. Longwave UV also produces green fluorescence but weaker than shortwave. Sits beautifully for display at many different positions. Except for the incomplete terminations mentioned above, no damage. A very fine and choice example of this material. Previous dealer label with a $450 price.
