Cadillac Mine, Alta Sierra, Greenhorn District, Greenhorn Mountains, Kern County, California
Miniature - 5.7 x 1.3 x 0.8 cm

The main feature of this specimen is a lustrous, deep green to black, translucent to opaque epidote crystal. The epidote has two terminations which are complete but appear ragged due to uneven crystal growth. Associated with patches of microcrystalline muscovite. A nice example from an obscure, defunct tungsten mine.
