A mostly transparent, doubly terminated quartz crystal is the matrix upon which numerous lustrous, brown scheelite octahedra sit. The scheelites range from translucent to opaque, reach 2.3 cm in size and glow blue under shortwave UV (second photo).  The quartz terminations are complete; the top is a simple point while the basal termination has several points. White and opaque, thin calcite blades to 1.8 cm provide accent. Displays quite nicely on its acrylic base (which partly obscures the basal quartz termination), which is easily removed if desired. Minor incomplete spots on two of the scheelite crystals, but otherwise this classic Yaogangxian Mine combination specimen is in quite nice condition.
