Two clusters of brown, crystalline (meta)hewettite on and partially coated by a sugary gypsum matrix. Hewettite - CaV₆O₁₆·9H₂O and its dehydrated analog metahewettite - CaV₆O₁₆·3H₂O cannot be distinguished visually and may be present together on the same specimen. This is a good species specimen, best appreciated under magnification.
