| 02158: Cuprite and Gypsum variety Selenite
- $20 29 Block, 660 meter level, Mufulira Mine, Mufulira, Mufulira District, Copperbelt Province, Zambia Miniature - 5.1 x 2.0 x 1.6 cm 11 grams Specimen status: Reserved Send an email with specimen number to order A slightly bent (at the termination),
highly transparent gypsum crystal (variety selenite) hosts
a 2.1 cm cluster of opaque, dark red-brown, mostly
complete cuprite crystals. The gypsum crystal, which runs
the length of the specimen, has a natural bend near the
termination. Interesting association from this somewhat
obscure copper mine. Nice condition.
