A tabular and highly translucent spodumene variety kunzite with very good lilac color. Complete all around; slight natural etching on the terminations (very typical of the locality/species) but not cleaved along the c-axis (which in kunzite is quite sensitive to cleaving). Nice fluorescence: orange under longwave UV (blacklight) and purple under shortwave UV. I obtained this specimen directly from the mine owner in October of 2006. Superb condition.
