A highly translucent, slightly divergent, pink tourmaline spray is attached at the termination to a matrix composed of crystalline quartz and albite variety cleavelandite. The tourmaline is repaired about halfway along its length. The adhesive used for the repair has turned brown; I would normally disassemble the specimen and repair it with fresh glue but it appears that reassembly would be difficult. A nice representative specimen from a locality which has been unproductive in recent years. Previous dealer label with a $200 price.
