A bifurcated gypsum spray specimen, heavily but aesthetically coated with brown iron hydroxides/oxides ('rust'). Currently mounted on an acrylic base for display and support. Although the base can be removed I would leave it alone because the base also make the specimen more robust. Superb condition.
