A flat matrix plate is coated with sparkly quartz microcrystals, upon which sit numerous brown, somewhat iridescent sphalerite crystals, most nicely translucent (best seen when illuminated from the rear). These sphalerites reach 1.7 cm. Sparse, golden chalcopyrite crystals to a few mm are also present. On the back of the specimen is a single, highly transparent gypsum crystal (variety selenite), which is doubly terminated and 1.8 cm in length. The specimen is in very nice condition and is self standing.
