This specimen consists of fully terminated, two water clear gypsum crystals (variety selenite). Such gypsum is certainly not rare from Naica but in this specimen is a penetration twin, a rare phenomenon in gypsum. In addition, under both longwave UV (blacklight) and shortwave UV, blue, banded fluorescence occurs. The specimen is in fine condition and very displayable.
