A transparent, lightly smoky quartz crystal, doubly terminated. Complete all around; the quartz has no obvious point of attachment to matrix, but the minor, relict feldspar also present provided this attachment. Trivial edge wear in one spot otherwise overall condition is very nice. I collected this specimen from the mine dumps in July of 2004.
