A water clear gypsum (variety
selenite) cleavage piece, having moderately abundant, deep
red proustite crust and crystals (mostly incomplete) to
about 2 mm around the edges (i.e. on the edges of the
cavity filled by the gypsum). Magnification needed to
appreciate this unusual association. Illustrated at Mindat.
