hydroboracite crystals to 1.5 cm on an anhydrite (?)
matrix. A 2.3 cm wide patch of clear gypsum (variety
selenite) is present near the edge of the specimen. Since
I haven't type a chemical formula in awhile, I'll remind
you that hydroboracite is a hydrated calcium magnesium
borate - CaMg[B3O4(OH)3]2ยท3H2O.
An affordable example for the species/locality. A
handwritten note accompanying the specimen notes the
sample is from the 2nd level and gives a date of December,
