An intimate pair of sharply bipyramidal (almost purely octahedral) wulfenite crystals, with the larger individual measuring almost 1.1 cm, on matrix studded with tiny, rhombohedral calcites. This was another specimen which began as almost trash: overly large, mostly barren matrix with the majority of the wulfenite present being heavily damaged. These little gems survived due to the protection afforded by the pocket in which they formed. Could be further trimmed to a thumbnail without significant loss.
