A glassy, light blue (just enough to be called aquamarine) and mostly transparent beryl is nested in a matrix of white microcline. The top end is has a stepped termination, whereas the bottom (where removed from matrix) is incomplete. The enveloping matrix has a sugary, etched texture. No damage. Displays nicely on its acrylic support, which is easily removable if desired.
