The body of this specimen is a lightly frosted, translucent to transparent quartz crystal. Attached are two, second generation, tabular quartz crystals, an opaque but sharp 3.1 cm adularia crystal, and some green-brown epidote. The epidote appears to have mostly dissolved away, leaving a cleft now partly filled with small quartz crystals. The main quartz termination has minor chipping, but otherwise (save for the usual edge issues) no significant damage is seen. Displays as shown nicely on its acrylic stand, which (as usual) could easily be dismounted if desired.
