This interesting association specimen is dominated by well-crystallized and complex, mirror-bright, black sphalerite plus lustrous galena crystals having a slightly melted appearance (or cleavage faces). Also present are smaller but quite nice pyrite clusters, composed of stacked cubes, plus some minor quartz points. Interesting to explore under magnification. (Note: The continued availability of Russian mineral specimens is uncertain, and that mineral specimens know no politics or imperialistic intentions.)
