| 00990: Gypsum variety Selenite "Tusk" -
$30 Taouz Caïdat, Er-Rissani Cercle, Errachidia Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region, Morocco Small cabinet - 6.3 x 3.6 x 3.4 cm 24 grams Specimen status: Available Send an email with specimen number to order A slightly curved, highly transparent
gypsum crystal on matrix. This gypsum is quite unusual for
its tapered growth, which at first glance might be caused
by natural water corrosion. However, the gypsum shows
numerous, distinct growth details on its surface, which
would be obliterated by aqueous dissolution. Very minor
termination damage but this 'tusk' is in otherwise fine
shape.
