An opaque, prismatic and gray microcline crystal, more or less complete (except where detached from matrix). The specimen has some 'bonespar' appearance (so named due to its resemblance to bone marrow), caused by natural, selective resorption of one feldspar species from its perthic structure. A hand-sized example which is typical for the species/locality. I collected this specimen from the mine dumps in May of 2003.
