The matrix display face is studded with abundant, bright, brassy and somewhat iridescent chalcopyrite crystals to about 7 mm, these on a carpet of small but transparent and sparkling quartz points. Minor calcite is also present. The original label that accompanies the specimen gives the locality as California's Jensen Quarry (which is clearly incorrect), but as this mineral species association is globally abundant, it is impossible to correct this locality error. Normally a specimen of common material without locality might just be given away but this example is too displayable for just a kid's collection. Self standing and in very nice condition.
