The main calcite crystal in this classic American specimen is 7.4 cm in length and doubly terminated. One termination is sharp and complete while the other is a bit incomplete where intergrown with some fluorite and removed from matrix. The calcites in this cluster all have good luster, and range from translucent to transparent. Minor purple fluorite and dark sphalerite noted. Two clean repairs have been made (noted on the previous collection's label). Sits for display on the base where removed from matrix. An affordable example of this classic material that would easily be $75 or more if perfect.
