A glassy, opaque microcline crystal, incomplete but the main face covered with smaller, complete crystals. Minor muscovite. I collected this specimen on July 6, 2003 from a pocket located at the base of the Beryl Stope (which shortly thereafter would yield the 49er Pocket, perhaps the first major pocket of modern operations at the locality). This pocket was particular rich with etched aquamarines and columbite-tantalite crystals; hence the pocket's name.
