A matrix of glistening, silvery muscovite hosts sparse kesterite crystals to about 5 mm in size. Before the recent discovery of distinct, macroscopic crystals at this locality a few years ago, kësterite - a copper zinc tin sulfide, Cu2ZnSnS4 was known mostly as just streaks and stains from other localities. As is typical for the species/locality, the kësterite crystals bear a coating of light green mushistonite, which is a globally rare copper zinc iron tin hydroxide, (Cu,Zn,Fe2+)[Sn(OH)6]. A patch of acicular black tourmaline completes the ensemble.
