41868: Ulexite replacing Borax - $14
Kramer Borate Deposit, Boron, Kern County, California
Miniature - 3.7 x 1.7 x 1.6 cm
11 grams

This specimen began as a borax crystal but was faithfully replaced over time by earthy ulexite. Certainly photogenically challenged. These pseudomorphs were rare on the dumps and now that collecting at this massive locality is off limits these will continue to become even scarcer. This example is in excellent condition.
