Along the edge of one matrix face is an open pocket lined with light magenta, chalcedony-looking cobaltoan calcite. Around the edges of this carpet are numerous deep magenta, lustrous and opaque to gemmy erythrite blades, with individual erythrites reaching about 5 mm. The majority are complete and terminated. At the other end of the specimen is a nearly solid, crystalline magenta vein; presumably more cobaltoan calcite and crystalline erythrite are present within. The specimen could be trimmed to a miniature, featuring the aforementioned open pocket, at the expense of the vein material.
