Abundant light brown clinozoisite crystals, translucent to opaque, reaching 1.6 cm on one face of a matrix apparently rich in the same species. Some of the crystals are terminated, while others are contacted or broken. From a somewhat obscure Plumas County locality, the specimen is accompanied by a handwritten Trantham collection label, indicating the specimen was personally collected in 1962 (along with Al McGuinness), and given a value of $50. A nifty specimen for the collector of California minerals.
