Rusty gypsum crystals have completely enveloped a fossil of an unidentified marine species. The gypsum displays bluish fluorescence under longwave UV (blacklight), with the glow noticeable for a second or more after the UV is extinguished (i.e., it is phosphorescent). Photogenically challenged but mineralogically interesting.
