Quoting from the Trimingham collection card (which accompanies the specimen): "Several clear colorless to translucent grayish doubly terminated xls in parallel arrangement, with some clay inclusions. Attractive specimen, with sharp xls. [Purchased] March 25, 1996." This specimen from a somewhat obscure gypsum locality is in excellent condition. Complete all around without any cleaves or contact points; a floater.
