Water clear gypsum (variety selenite)
blades to 2.3 cm clustered in an alabaster (massive
gypsum) matrix cleft. These selenite blades reach 2.3 cm
and display eerie bluish white fluorescence under both
longwave UV (blacklight) and shortwave UV. This classic
gypsum specimen is in superb condition and displays better
than my lousy photos suggest.
