A 1.5 cm, translucent and tabular wulfenite crystal sits on a bed of crusty barite. A few barite crystal clusters with parallel, lenticular blades are also present as well as a partial coating of icy gypsum. The wulfenite/gypsum association is rare at this locale; of the 141 Touissit wulfenite photos and 17 Touissit gypsum photos hosted at Mindat, none show these two species together. The wulfenite appears ragged in the photos but is actually complete and undamaged. The specimen might benefit from trimming the excess matrix but this would very likely require sawing.
