From the Bob Trimingham collection card (which accompanies the specimen): "Pale brownish terminated prismatic transparent [gypsum crystals] of about 1/2" size with partial covering of micro[crystals] on matrix of colorless cubic Halite [crystals] with a 5/8" one dominating....Fine condition. [Acquired] Jan. 30, 1982." The halite displays brilliant orange fluorescence under shortwave UV.
