Dominant on this peculiar specimen are several goethite/limonite 'clubs' (possibly pseudomorphs after...?), thrusting upwards from a matrix of similar composition. Scatted about the clubs are patches of opaque, somewhat rounded malachite, most likely replacing azurite. In addition, numerous blebs and crystals of azurite are also scattered about. I have never seen another Moroccan specimen like this one, which displays quite beautifully on its naturally flat base. No damage.
