Miniature - 5.0 x 3.9 x 2.9 cm (2.0 x 1.5 x 1.1 inches)

Specimen status: Sold

This specimen consists of frosty white, slightly spiky and translucent calcite crystals, galena cubes (some with minor octahedral faces) with moderate to dull luster, brassy to iridescent chalcopyrite tetrahedra, and colorless, mostly water-clear quartz needles. The calcites reach about 1.1 cm, the galenas measure up to 8 mm, and the chalcopyrites and quartzes are all smaller. The calcites show modest red fluorescence under shortwave UV. A very typical Madan Ore Field assemblage. Some chips etc noted but not an issue at this price.
