A glass, lightly translucent to nearly all transparent gypsum crystal, doubly terminated. Scattered dark inclusions add interest and contrast. Blue-white fluorescence under shortwave UV. Very lightly rubbed along the edges in a few spots; not at all unexpected (gypsum is very soft), so nothing I'd call damage. Sits nicely for display using the sidecar crystals as stands. Probably from Lakes Gilles, famous for wildly twinned and twisted gypsum crystals. A sharp and affordable example of Australian gypsum. Does the third image look like a porpoise to anyone?
