Moderately abundant, fine-grained crusts of white rapidcreekite associated with abundant sprays of acicular, white gypsum on matrix. These identifications are based on a previous dealer label (Excalibur Mineral Company; many of their samples are analyzed in house) as well as reaction with dilute hydrochloric acid (the rapidcreekite, a calcium sulfate carbonate - Ca2(SO4)(CO3)ยท4H2O effervesces whereas the acicular material does not).
